Helmets are optional in girls lacrosse and can be used in place of the lacrosse goggles.

February 27th, 2023 will be the official start of the season. The season will almost always start the last day of February for years going forward.
You’ll often hear coaches say the only thing that boys lacrosse and girls lacrosse have in common is the ball. Physical contact is very limited in girls lacrosse with a great focus on speed and finesse. We suggest search YouTube for NCAA Womens Lacrosse.
